Getting away with a group of friends for a weekend is something pretty magical. Doing it in Tassie, even more so. We're pretty blessed to live in this part of the world in my opinion. A few months ago we headed left across the state over to Tullah for a wee lil trip away. My girlfriend found a sweet shack for hire through Air BnB, it fit 5 of us no probs, had a kitchen with everything we needed for cooking a feast, 2 kayaks, 2 bikes and a wood heater. Sweet digs. Oh and! Just outside the door was Lake Rosebery, the most tranquil lake you ever did see, which we got out on with the kayaks. Surrounding Tullah are heaps of nature walks that are totally accessible for everyone. Montezuma Falls is amazing and well worth checking out which is also near by. Along with wonderful walks around the area is the town of Rosebery and further down, Queenstown. If you ever get a chance, head out to this place. It's a really peaceful, nice break from the world.
